The program is broken down into three phases, (1) online theory, (2) practical training in-person at the academy and (3) your practicum hours. We front load the theory so you have all the background knowledge required to start hands-on training in the school. During the 8-week theory phase, there will be 3 days per week of instructor-led training and 2 days a week of self-study to complete assignments.
-
The program is approximately 40% theory, 20 % clinical instruction 40% hands-on learning. The first 8 weeks are instructional in theory, followed by 2 weeks of house practicum. After your practicum, you complete your practicum hours with clients at your own pace.
